The event is expected to draw tens of thousands of horsepeople to enjoy a world-class educational program and extensive trade show as well as an entertaining and informative competition.

Visit us at the Washington International Horse Show this week as the 51st annual competition returns to Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., Oct. 20-25, 2009.

An equestrian tradition since 1958, the Washington International Horse Show brings horses and riders of all ages, including Olympic champions from all over the world, to the nation’s capital for thrilling jumping competition and a chance to compete for more than $400,000 in prize money and championship titles. About 500 horses participate in show jumping, hunters, equitation and dressage events during the six-day show. Special exhibitions, shopping on the concourse and community and charity events round out this family-friendly show.

We are proud join Dressage at Devon, one of the most prestigious horse shows in North America, as a Breed Division Class Sponsor. The six-day event starts Tuesday (9/22) and runs through Sunday (9/27). It brings together hundreds of the continent’s best dressage riders and sport horse breeders and benefits Thorncroft Therapeutic Horseback Riding Inc., the oldest and largest therapeutic riding program in the nation.
